Mayor WES Gatchalian (2nd from left) hands out the cash assistance of PhP 50,000 from the City Government of Valenzuela to Alvenida Gregoria, one of the the six Valenzuelano centenarians at the AVR, Legislative Building, Valenzuela City Hall, on October 28, 2022. This is in time for the Elderly Month Celebration. Each centenarian received PhP 50,000 under the Centenarian Ordinance of Valenzuela City or Ordinance No. 652, Series of 2020. This is to show appreciation to the City’s Elderly people and immortalize their invaluable contribution to society. Aside from the cash assistance, centenarians received grocery items gifted by the Alliances Senior Citizens of Valenzuela. 2nd District Councilor Mickey Pineda (extreme left) and City Social Welfare and Development Office head Dorothy Evangelista (extreme right) were present during the said event.
